David Kessler, MD, FACS

David Kessler, MDSpecialties & Services:

  • Facial Plastic Surgery
  • Otolaryngology
  • Aesthetics

Philosophy:
When considering aesthetic improvements to the face, I feel that the planning process is just as important as the actual technical surgery.  A well performed operation done for the wrong indications may well lead to an unsatisfying outcome.  I have always had a passion for the visual arts and find those principles very helpful when evaluating an individual's face and discussing what oftentimes is a myriad of treatment options with them.  With over 25 years experience in the field of cosmetic surgery, my philosophy places an emphasis on the patient's perspective, seeing their facial concerns through their own eyes

Associations / Honors / Awards:

  • Fellow, American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
  • Fellow, American College of Surgeons
  • Associations also include: AMA, American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, Pacific Northwest Society of Otolaryngology, Kitsap County Medical Society, Washington State Medical Association
  • America's Best Doctors Award 2005

Lynn Sudduth, MD

Lyn Sudduth, MDSpecialties & Services:

  • Dermatology
  • Aesthetics

Philosophy:
Dermatology is a field which appeals to me because I can simply look closely at my patient and make a diagnosis. I find it very satisfying to be able to quickly help patients with skin problems that have been long term and problematic.

I became interested in dermatology when I was a pediatrician and saw many rashes. I still enjoy seeing pediatric patients, but now I very much enjoy seeing patients of all ages. It is really fun to see all the members of one family for a variety of different skin issues.

I also like dermatology because I can help people look their best by improving their skin. I enjoy being able to do cosmetic procedures such as Botox, laser and leg vein treatment which quickly make people look better.

Of course, most importantly, by diagnosing melanoma I am doing what all doctors love to do, which is save lives. A very large part of my job is making sure people understand how to watch their own skin because melanoma is a dangerous cancer if not diagnosed early.

Philosophy:
The human hand is an amazing combination of dexterity, strength and intricate mechanics. The fact that it is used so much to explore and manipulate the world around makes it prone to damage and wear. It is in the world of hand surgery that we combine history, physical examination and imaging studies to determine what's gone wrong and what treatment options exist.

Not everything that changes in the human body needs to be fixed but when the dysfunction of the hand is getting in the way of living it is personally gratifying to have the knowledge and tools to be able to improve the quality of a person's life.

The hand is second only to the face as most visible part of every human being. Hands show the effect of injury, environmental exposure and aging more than many other body parts. For the person who feels younger than their hands look there are a number of treatments available to restore a more youthful appearance.

Combining non-surgical, surgical, and the talents of an aesthetician it is now possible to reverse some of the effects of aging and the environment allowing your hands to, once again, make that great first impression.
